With Total Demolition over a week away and with so many things happening in OCW leading to that event and its huge main event War Games match, he is a look at who is hot and who is not in OCW currently.
Jason Xavier
Is there anyone on the OCW roster with as much potential to achieve greatness in the next few weeks? Not only does he have an Internet title shot at this coming Massacre but he has been named as The Family's fifth man in the War Games match at Total Demolition giving him a chance to rejuvenate the currently leaderless team. He is also the ONLY family member to make it to the top ten this week.
MJ Bell
In the middle of two major situations in OCW, MJ Bell also managed to pull out a win in the main event while representing Team Brianna with her unlikely partner in Mia Stone. Ontop of that, she has been embroiled in what seems to be a hostile situation with Ian Bishop with Kenshin Takamura in that mix as well. She certainly seems to be at the center of many current events in OCW and that has earned her the number nine slot.
Kobra (Internet Champion)
Probably a shoe in for Best newcomer for the month of April, Kobra's stock has seemingly risen as Scott Syren has given him the Internet title as a reward for winning the Rookie's night out match. Kobra reluctantly accepted it and will now defend it against Jason X at this coming Massacre. If he is to retain, he will be moving onto Chad Vargas at Total Demolition. He is at eight now, but is quickly on the rise up the rankings. A solid win over Jason X will shoot him even further up.
Amber Ryan (Tag team champion)
Not only was the tag team champion able to make little work of B-Minus this week but she was able to negotiate a deal with Brianna to be on her team for the upcoming War Games match. She brings something the team of first year rookies do not have: experience. With her numerous title reigns and years in the industry, she could very well be the ace up their sleeve.
Pryde (Southern Champion)
Taking somewhat of a dip from the week before hand, Pryde was still able to make his impact felt at Massacre as he has been ordered to defend his title against Kenshin Takamura at Total Demolition. He then masterminded an attack on Kenshin with the rest of his Operation Zero Brood to give him the edge going into their match.
Mia Stone
Taking a mighty leap up the rankings due to a major win in the Massacre main event that got her War Games team match the man ...er ...Woman Advantage, Mia Stone signals the mid-way point of the countdown. While a reluctant member of Team Brianna, Mia Stone has been given some good incentive to be a team player for the short term as Brianna has promised her a shot at the Central Title if they were to beat the Family. Ontop of that, The Family jumped her backstage making her even more enraged. That proved to be a fatal mistake on their part because she is looking to be a MAJOR power player in team Brianna ...and in OCW in general.
Danny B (Tag Team Champion)
Danny B is now in not one but two tag teams and a co-champ of one of those teams. It seems he has his hand in a lot of major happenings ...but the question is "can he juggle both with all being a singles star on the rise?" With the announcement that he will be facing Scott Syren at Total Demolition for a chance to be in the Clash at the Coast main event for the Western title. Can he multi-task all of these projects?
Kenshin Takamura
Handpicked by Dean to challenge Operation Zero member, Pryde, for the Southern title, Kenshin Takamura has had a major resurgence of sorts over the last few weeks. He has learned a lot since losing the Internet title and watching it destroyed and now he looks to apply that in a high profile match at Total Demolition for the title. Can he pull off that major win in his very first shot at a regional title? And will his issues with Ian Bishop get in the way of his ascent to the title?
Brianna Casablancas (Southern Champion)
The leader of her own War Games team might be at number two more for the effect her past accomplishments has had on this week's show and the state of The Family. As it has been decaying, Brianna has been efficiently recruiting a team to put a final nail in the coffin. And to the disdain of many critics, she plans to do it with a full female team. After debuting her full team at Massacre, Brianna looks to lead her team to victory at Total Demolition. But is she aware of the danger that looms within her team if they win?
Scott Syren
Plain and simple, Scott Syren hi-jacked the whole episode of Massacre ...but not just for himself. Being the diplomat that he is, he made sure to share that spotlight with his Operation Zero team mates. Ontop of the mellow yellow sprinkler system trick he pulled after the main event, he masterminded several HUGE moments on Massacre. From the handing over the internet title to Kobra, to the boiler room brawl that saw Perzag come out on top, to the attack on Kenshin, to not being pleased with a lackluster match and stealing that win. Operation Zero has been at the center of this whole episode. Since he is the leader of that movement ...he has earned himself the top slot.
Perzag- He could be VERY close to breaking the top ten soon given his impromptu win at Massacre.
Chad Vargas- The confederate Icon finds himself the contender for the Internet title at Total Demolition.
Ehud of Moab- If destroying woman's jaw with one punch and choking out a little person does not get you noticed, what will?
