The newswire is buzzing this evening as minority OCW owner Marcus Welsh himself confirmed that HOW Hall Famer Cecilworth Farthington and HOW and OCW Hall of Famer Michael Lee Best were spotted in OCW today. Welsh is said to have spoken with Farthington at some length for the first time since 2020. Best and Welsh, who have been rumored to have spoken many times this year, seemed particularly to have mended fences with the minority owner. Cecilworth Farthington has previously held the now defunct Paragon Championship, while Michael Best previously held the OCW World and Craze Championships, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame class of 2019.
No word as to whether either man is planning an immediate return to Online Championship Wrestling, but several members of the OCW roster were excited about the prospect, including HOW stablemate and OCW newcomer Jace Parker Davidson. We reached out to all parties for a comment, but only heard back from Michael Best, who told us:
