(A door clicks open. A young woman walks through the door, and closes it behind her, locking it. She puts her keys down next to a fruit bowl on a side bench, and walks into a kitchen. She puts her hand in her handbag and pulls out her phone. She looks at a photo of an elderly couple with tears running down her cheeks. She dials in a number and it starts ringing.)
(PerZag is walking down a hallway towards an elevator. He presses the button signaling that he wants to go to the ground floor. The doors to the elevator open up and he steps inside. He puts his hand into his pocket, and pulls out his phone. A message is displayed on screen saying “Call us soon. We want to talk.” PerZag looks at his phone, and dials in a number)
PerZag: “Hello.”
(PerZag listens into the phone as the elevator stops, and a person walks into it.)
PerZag: “Yes, mother. It is me.”
(The elevator stops once again, and another person steps inside.)
PerZag: “It was fantastic mother. A great night indeed. I will be back in Banalla in a couple of days, and I will tell you all about it. Would you be able to put father on?”
(The elevator’s doors open and PerZag steps out and walks into the lobby. He stops against a wall and leans up against it.)
PerZag: “Thanks, mother. Will see you soon. Hi, father. I just wanted to tell you that it is the greatest experience ever. I know you use to be in the same career as I am in right now, and it is great.”
(PerZag looks towards a couple of people walking past and nods at them.)
PerZag: “OK, father. I do not know why you are so disappointed with me being a detective. That was five years ago, and look where I am now. I am following what you did for a living, and I will see it through.”
(PerZag steps forward, and walks up to a vending machine, looking over it.)
PerZag: “Alright then. Will see you in a couple of days. I will tell you all the bigger details then. See you soon.”
(PerZag hangs up his phone, and puts it back into his pocket. He looks at the vending machine, but walks away getting nothing. PerZag walks across the lobby to the service desk.)
Service Desk Lady: “How may I help you, sir.”
PerZag: “I would just like to check out. I have finished my stay.”
Service Desk Lady: “No problem. Will just be a moment.”
(The lady puts a few things in on the computer, and takes back PerZag’s keycard.)
Service Desk Lady: “Hope you had a nice stay.”
PerZag: “I sure did.”
(PerZag turns around and starts to walk towards the main door of the building. As he is walking towards the door, a man calls out to him, and PerZag looks in his direction viciously.)
Man: “No need to look at me like that. I am just a reporter. I wanted to talk to you Mr.... What is your last name... No need to worry I will just call you Mr. Zag.”
PerZag: “Do not call me that.”
Man: “OK. I will call you Mr. PerZag then. My name is Frederick Tuckins. I wanted to talk to you about your official signing with OCW.”
PerZag: “OK, Fred. I will talk to you about it. What do you want to know?”
Frederick Tuckins: “I wanted to ask you about why you chose the career of professional wrestling. What lead you to this industry?”
PerZag: “Man, Fred. That is a very long story. To long to tell you right now, but I can tell you the gist of it. The reason why I joined professional wrestling is for a couple of reasons. The first is that my father was a professional wrestler. Not for OCW obviously, my father is too old for that. No, he fought in wrestling companies that no one would have heard of today. He had always wanted me to get into the business and continue on. My brother and sister did not want to fight at all, they became lawyers, whilst I became a detective. My other reason for joining this career was because my last career did not turn out too well. It ended very badly, and there is no way I am going back.”
Frederick Tuckins: “So, your father was a professional wrestler. It runs in the family, that seems to happen to a lot of the athletes these days, they all join professional wrestling because their parents did. What about your official joining of OCW. Why choose OCW out of any other company?”
PerZag: “I chose to join with OCW because it seems like the only legit company out there. All the other companies are a bunch of pansies pretending to be kings and queens or pussy little goats. All the companies are soft-cocks, apart from OCW. OCW are the only company out there today that is good enough to fight in. Nothing is rigged, the companies do not make you lose. If you are not good enough, you will lose. That is how it works, and OCW are the only company who knows that.”
Frederick Tuckins: “I cannot agree more. What about your debut for OCW last night on Massacre.”
PerZag: “That was a great night. I started off in the Rookies Night Out Match. A gauntlet basically. I was the third man into the match and the second last eliminated. I also eliminated the most in the match with two eliminations. As you saw, I was quite dominating in that match. I do not care if I did not win that match, I showed what I could do to those who face me. Later on in the night you saw myself as well as Kobra tear two complete jobbers to pieces. What were their names again?”
Frederick Tuckins: “I think their names were Richard and Drew Stevenson.”
PerZag: “Thanks. Well Kobra and myself ripped Richard and Drew Stevenson to shreds. Which showed our official alliance with Pryde and Scott Syren. You saw in one night how I destroyed the competition in the ring and how my ‘Worthy List’ and ‘Unworthy List’ came into play.”
Frederick Tuckins: “Thanks for that. What about next weeks Massacre? There are talks about you not showing up for the show. If you were going to show up who are you going to stop.”
PerZag: “Man, next weeks Massacre is still days away. I have heaps of time to decide whether I am going to fight or not. I will either be there or I will not. I have seen the matches scheduled for next week, there will be some great ones. Ian Bishop and The Lost Soul will be a great match. The Main Event is going to be spectacular as well, but there is a problem.”
Frederick Tuckins: “What is the problem?”
PerZag: “I see names like James Carson, Trent Collins, Brian Cady and KC3 having matches next week, and they are terrible. People who are just terrible at what they do, you saw how they went in the Rookies Night Out Match last week. They were terrible. If I am going to do anything for next week it will be to put people like that on my ‘Unworthy List’. They are certainly not worthy enough to be on my ‘Worthy List’. So, if you are going to see me next week, it will be to write those names down on my lists.
"
Frederick Tuckins: “What is it with your ‘Lists’.”
PerZag: “They are to determine who is Worthy and who is Unworthy. Nothing else is to say about it.”
Frederick Tuckins: “Just one more question. What about the scars on your face? How did you get those.”
(PerZag looks at Frederick Tuckins fiercely, and walks away back towards the main doors of the building. He opens one of the doors as a lady walks through it thanking him, and walks through himself.)
(The sun shines on his face clearly displaying his scars. He puts his hand on his face feeling the scars. He removes his hand from his face, and walks down the steps leading out of the building. Once hitting the bottom step he walks forward, and climbs into the back of a taxi.)
PerZag: “Take me to the airport, thanks.”
(The taxi drives out of the parking space and starts to go on its way. A phone starts ringing, and PerZag pulls his phone out of his pocket and puts it to his ear.)
PerZag: “What’s going on Sis? I am going to the airport now, will meet up with you their soon.”
PerZag’s sister: “I need to meet up with you. Come to my apartment.”
PerZag: “No problem. Will be there soon.”
(PerZag takes the phone away from his ear, and puts it back into his pocket.)
PerZag: “There is a change of plan...”
(PerZag climbs out of the taxi and turns around giving the money to the driver. He starts walking up the stairs towards the main doors of his sister’s building. Stepping through the main doors, he goes straight to the elevator, in which it displays “OUT OF ORDER". PerZag turns around and walks to the steps instead. He walks up the stairs until he gets to the fifth floor and walks down the hallway. PerZag walks straight up to door 5F and knocks on it. Crying is heard through the door.)
PerZag: “Sister, it is me. What is wrong? Open up the door.”
(The door opens up and PerZag’s sister wraps her arms around his body.)
PerZag sister: “We should not have left, brother. We should not have left Banalla. It would not have happened if we had stayed. It would not have happened, it would have all been alright.”
PerZag: “What are you talking about? What happened? Why should we have stayed in Banalla? What are you going on about?”
PerZag’s sister: “Its are parents. They are dead.”
PerZag: “No. That cannot be right, I talked to them half an hour ago. They cannot be dead.”
PerZag’s sister: “I am sorry brother, but they are. I got a call from the precinct in Banalla, and they were killed. They were shot, and our brother has been kidnapped.”
PerZag: “Who would do such a thing? Who would do this to us?”
PerZag’s sister: “I am sorry brother. I think I know why. We have been keeping something from you for a long time, and well... I have asked him to come over.”
(There is a knock at the door. PerZag looks towards his sisters, and she nods back at him. He walks up to the door turning the handle, and peers out the door.)
PerZag’s sister: “I am so sorry for this brother.”
PerZag: “No. It cannot be. You’re dead, I saw you die. I Saw You Die.”
30 Minutes Earlier
PerZag: “Hello.”
(PerZag listens into the phone as the elevator stops, and a person walks into it.)
PerZag: “Yes, mother. It is me.”
(The elevator stops once again, and another person steps inside.)
