Camera: Off
Location: Serenity Health Solutions; Cross Family Physiatrist office.
Anaheim, California, U.S.
We open up with yours truly “The Brat Prince” Gideon Cross staring up at the ceiling in the office of his personal therapist’s office, his aunt Rochelle Graham can be seen sitting across from him with a clipboard in hand and a pen in the other hand.
Rochelle Graham: “So Giddy, last time we met we were discussing the reason why you hold your father’s surname with such disdain..”
An uncharacteristic smile forms on his face as he nods in disdain.
Gideon Cross: “Did we? I really don’t remember aunt Rochelle.”
Rochelle Graham: “Yes, Yes we did Gideon if I do recall correctly.”
Gideon shakes his head in disdain as he continues to look up at the ceiling of his aunt’s office.
Gideon Cross: “You sure?”
Gideon questions again in an attempt to avoid answering the question.
Rochelle Graham: “Yes, Gideon I’m positive.”
Gideon Cross: “...”
Gideon sighs.
Gideon Cross: “Fine, fine if you say so..”
Rochelle Graham: “So what’s the reasoning behind it, Gideon?”
Gideon’s aunt and personal therapist questions in a more serious tone of voice.
Gideon Cross: “Well I guess you could say it started when I was about 6 aunt Rochelle..”
Rochelle Graham: “Are you sure?”
Gideon nods, confirming his decision.
Rochelle Graham: “Ok, so..”
Gideon Cross: “So..”
Rochelle Graham: “Well, Gideon go on..”
Gideon Cross: “About?”
Gideon questions, hoping his personal therapist, his aunt Rochelle will just give up and go on.
Rochelle Graham: “Gideon, my nephew and more so the client I’ve had since he was a child. Come on now, you know I won't be giving up so easy.. Something I’m sure you’re surely not used too huh?”
Gideon’s smile turns to a smile of disdain.
Gideon Cross: “Um.. yea if you say so..”
Rochelle Graham: “Gideon we both know that it’s true, you know by not answering my question you’re only making it harder on yourself, so why not make it easier on yourself and just answer my question so we can continue on as we’re almost at the halfway mark of this week's session..”
Gideon Cross: ”FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE!!!!!!”
Gideon says as he lets out a gut retching scream, before calming himself down.
Gideon Cross: “So.. if I tell you can we move on then?”
Rochelle Graham: “Perhaps.”
Gideon Cross: “No, I want you to move on if I tell you..”
Rochelle Graham: “Well for this session, we’ll have to eventually come back to it at some point or another Gideon.”
Gideon Cross: “Fine, Fine.. I’ll tell you, but you can’t tell father. Promise me!!”
Gideon says in a demanding manner.
Rochelle Graham: “You know that already, whatever we talk about stays between us..”
Gideon Cross: “Lies, I left here last time and father told me you had called him and told him about our last session we had, so I need to know you won’t tell him..”
Rochelle Graham: “You’re right, I did Gideon and I’m sorry I broke patient-doctor confidentiality and I am sorry for that. You have my word I will not tell your father..”
Gideon Cross: “Fine, I hold the surname of Gideon with disdain as I’m tired of living up to their expectations. Each and every day I have to live under this moniker. I don’t live, sleep, breath, and piss this business or this legacy. I have my own dreams, my own ambitions, my own goals in life that aren’t GIDEON Solutions!!”
Rochelle Graham: “Okay, now.. Now we’re getting somewheres Gideon.”
Rochelle says, as she jots down a few notes in her notepad.
Gideon Cross: “Umm.. however I think I hold the name of Gideon with such disdain due to my father having had remarried after the death of my mother, your sister and well ever since then I have just felt like he not just betrayed my mother after her death, but also me…”
Rochelle Graham: “Now.. doesn’t that feel good letting it out Gideon?”
Gideon Cross: “I guess, still doesn’t change squat about my disdain towards him though.”
Rochelle Graham: “That’s fine and totally understandable Gideon, however you couldn’t have not expected your father to not have remarried could you, I mean he too deserves happiness also don’t you think so?”
Gideon Cross: “True, but he could have waited a bit longer, no?”
Rochelle Graham: “Gideon he did, plus your mother would have wanted him to find new love..”
As Rochelle says that, Gideon questions her in an agitated voice.
Gideon Cross: “Umm.. not with Natalya she wouldn’t have..”
Rochelle Graham: “But.. Gideon or should I say Alexander Gabriel Gideon, De LaCroix III, shame on you, you shouldn’t care who it is as long as he’s happy..”
Gideon Cross: “It’s Gideon, Gideon Cross aunt Rochelle..”
Puzzled with what her nephew had just said, she stops taking her notes, as she does, she looks at him, her lips pursed. Without saying a single word, she slowly sits back and removes her glasses from her face.
Rochelle Graham: “Umm.. so it’s just Gideon Cross now?”
Gideon smirks, before speaking up.
Gideon Cross: “Correct, being it’s a play off my actual given name aunt Rochelle..”
Rochelle Graham: “So you truly can’t hate your father’s surname that bad now can you?”
Gideon Cross: “If you only knew, however, it's also biblical..”
Rochelle Graham: “That is true Giddy.”
She says, a few minutes later she quietly folds her glasses and sets them atop her notebook and looks at him intently.
Rochelle Graham: “Well if Gideon Cross is what you prefer then so be it, as for right now our time has once again come and gone my nephew..”
She says as she stands up and places her notebook in her chair and slowly makes her way over to him, she reaches out, her glasses folded in her right hand, and places each hand on each one of his Gianni Versace Runway Napoleon I Medusa silk-covered shoulders.
Camera: On.
Location: Cross Manor Estates; Poolside with Gideon.
Anaheim, California, U.S.
Our scene opens up outside on the grounds of Cross Manor Estates, more specifically out at the pool area, as the camera’s span around looking for our hero, your prince and mines, yes, the very young man who’s come to be known as none other then “The Brat Prince”, yes yours truly Gideon Cross.
Cross can be seen relaxing out at his pool, a few of his friends can be seen poolside as well, some in the water, others lying alongside the edges of the pool on pool chairs. Cross can be seen with a martini in his hand, and a towel draped around his neck.
Gideon Cross: “Caledon.. Caledon my guy..”
Hearing his name being called by the man who pays his check, Caledon drops what he’s doing nearby to attend to his young employer.
Caledon Young: “Yes, Gideon sir?”
Gideon Cross: “Cali my guy, be a good chap and bring me and my guest another round of drinks..”
Caledon Young: “As you wish sir.”
Gideon Cross: “Now let's talk business shall we? I mean seriously, who hasn’t seen or heard about the injustice that was brought upon yours truly, right, right?”
Gideon says in a non-charismatic tone of voice as he continues on.
Gideon Cross: “So if you haven’t seen it or heard about it or in case you’ve been living under a rock for the past month and a half I lost against that no good cheat Bobby Grenier at Access Denied last month..”
Cross says with disgust in his voice as he continues on.
Gideon Cross: “Yes, like I said it from the start and have been saying from day one, he stacked that match so the odds were against me, it was literally like going into a casino and betting all your chips on one color and knowing you were going to win.
Cross says as he takes a breath of the fresh cool crisp air, before continuing on.
Gideon Cross: “How do I put it for you dimwitted fucks who still think he’s some genuine hero, oh I know, let me say it one more time for those of you who are to slow to understand that he stacked the damn deck.
He knew deep down he couldn’t beat me fair and square like he claimed he could and I say that because, not only did I have him beat, but I also had his number that night and he knew that walking in, I had him beat until his cunt of a girlfriend Alice Knight stuck her nose in the match and cost me the damn match..”
Cross says as he sits up as Caledon returns with the round of drinks he had requested.
Gideon Cross: “About fucking time Cali..”
Caledon Young: “Yea.. sor-”
Cross takes small sips from his martini drink.
Gideon Cross: “Hold that thought Caledon.”
Cross says with a cocky demeanor, as he continues on.
Gideon Cross: “Now.. a few weeks later Bobby boy has a match against some other newcomer by the name of Kelson Hewitt whoever the fuck that is who believes he can do what I couldn’t do, yea right I’ll believe it when I see it..”
Cross pauses, taking in another breath of fresh air before exhaling shortly afterwards.
Gideon Cross: “Like I was saying, I’ll believe it when it’s not Bobby and Alice and it’s just Bobby then again best of luck to the guy.. We all know he’ll need it..”
Cross says with a chuckle.
Gideon Cross: “Now.. Now.. let's talk about my match this Monday on Massacre which will be airing from within that shithole Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada, come February 14th, Valentines Day when I go up against that asswipe, the very man who claims to be the ladies man, yes, yes “Battleborn” Dane Preston.. Yes, can I help you Cali?”
Caledon Young: “Um.. sir it’s not Dane Preston you’re facing its some guy named Dane Princeton..”
Confused, Gideon signals for his manservant Celdon to lean in towards him as he whispers into his ear.
Gideon Cross: “You're kidding right?”
Cross questions as Caledon shakes his head implying he isn’t joking with his employer.
Gideon Cross: “Fuck, this whole time I had thought Marcus struck a deal with them looser over at the cesspool FIGHT! NYC to finally allow yours truly to go up against that pussy Dane Preston.. No biggie what I had planned for Preston, Princeton will just come to suffer a similar fate, mark my words on that for a Dynasty is about to be born and you’re looking at.. Now with that being said I got guests and a pool party to attend too..”
Cross says as he removes his towel from around his shoulders and jumps on into his pool joining the rest of his guests.
