Veronica Strader’s Locker room



~Veronica has done a heck of a job remodelling the locker/dressing room that once belonged to former OCW Champion and traitor scum Peter Weiner Vaughn. A minibar is stocked with Canadian Whiskey, Crystal Head Vodka, and Terremana Gold Tequilla when you walk to your right. The bar has three barstools, one for Veronica, one for Roxxie and the last for The Head Mistress. To the left of the entrance, along the wall, is a 100 inch 8K Samsung television attached to the wall with a Nintendo Switch for Chuck, a Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X for entertainment and, of course, to watch top notch OCW original programming with a large black sectional couch. Along the main wall that’s straight ahead of the doorway are twenty-first-century-style hockey locker stalls for each lady with their ring gear hanging up neatly. On the floor in the centre is a mural very much like the one Mike Zybala painted in the main locker room. Of course, OCW didn’t float the bill for this luxury room; it was Veronica who used part of the inheritance Scott Nash Strader had left his granddaughters. Some might call her crazy for doing so, but Ronnie loved this company as much as Victoria did, and she was going to honour that. She sits in the corner section of the sectional couch with a bowl of popcorn, watching the footage of her throwing Cara Strader off the side of the building. Roxxie sits down the sectional with Vee’s feet on her lap, rubbing them.~



Roxxie G: You think your mom or sister will press charges?



Veronica: First off, not my mom and sister. Victoria’s? Yes. Mine? No. But to answer the last part… no, they won’t. The family doesn’t like law enforcement. It’s more likely John Strader shows up with bitch boys on Harley’s than cops being called.



~The Head Mistress walks into view, sitting down beside Vee. The Trans-Atlantic Champion puts her left arm around her, and Marcy snuggles in.~



Marcy: What did the boss have to say?



Veronica: Marcus? He patted my shoulder and told me I did the right thing disciplining someone sneaking into our home.



~Home. Not far off, Veronica hasn’t left the OCW Arena in weeks, outside of a brief appearance in Thunder Pro Wrestling.~



Marcy: Ready for Dylan Thomas?



Veronica: I am preparing. Hopefully, he doesn’t wear a silly costume; it gets pretty damn cold in Detroit in January.



Roxxie G: Plan on saying anything to the former Craze Champ?



~Veronica smiles widely; the women unsure if it’s something to do with Dylan or seeing Cara Strader damn near die as Vee rewinds to watch again.~



Veronica: Oh, I have. I gave a little poem for Chuck to deliver…



~We switch to Vee’s head of security, Chuck, who’s walking away from the locker room of Dylan Thomas. The door is closed, and a note is pinned there with a chef’s knife stabbed into it to hold it in place.~

Inside the locker room of the A-List Family, everyone hears a light thump at the door.  Vincenzo goes to check the noise out.

Dylan: Who is it?

Vincenzo: Not sure.  But you might wanna see this....

Vincenzo tears the note from the door, leaving the knife there.  He hands the note to Dylan who reads it with a smirk.

Dylan: Hmph. Cute. 

The camera fades.

[Dylan Thomas]

Dylan and Lissandra Thomas make their way to the ring to huge cheers. Dylan is dressed in a nice black suit while Lissandra is dressed in a stunning white dress. Lissandra is carrying a microphone. The A-List couple climb into the ring and wait for the cheers to die down.

Lissandra: Hello, Key West! Hello OCW Faithful!

The crowd cheers!

Lissandra: Did everyone enjoy Monday Night Equality last night?

The crowd cheers again.

Lissandra: Is everyone ready for Christmas?

The crowd murmurs at this one.

Lissandra: Yeah, us neither….But we’re almost there! Dylan has something to say.

Dylan: I’m going to get straight to the point. Vee Strader!

Crowd: VEE! VEE! VEE!

Dylan and Lissandra nod along in agreement.

Dylan: Vee is a phenomenal talent, I’m not taking anything away from your Trans-Atlantic champion. But Vee…are we in a wrestling company or second grade English class? The poem was cute… very well written but if that was your idea of trying to get under my skin…well I think we both know you can do better than that. You walk around with a Chuckie doll for crying out loud.

Lissandra: Not that we can talk.

Dylan: Well, no. Exactly.

Crowd: PENNYLORD! PENNYLORD! PENNYLORD!

Lissandra: I never thought I would hear that one.

Dylan: I’m not just a pretty face, Veronica. I wasn’t always the people loving man, as I am today. It took A LOT of work to get Face of the Year. Let me tell you that. I made my living in OCW’s sister company GCWA for a long time and over there, there was a mad man known only as Xtreme - yep without an E at the beginning…I broke his ankle in my debut match there, and broke it six months later just for fun. I say, if you wanna play games then let’s ramp up the games. But at Access Denied when I become the new Trans-Atlantic champion, there will be no games to play….

Dylan and Lissandra then exit the ring and begin to head backstage

[Veronica Strader]

~Veronica sits in her locker room, more specifically on the sectional style couch watching her big screen. She sits in the middle of said couch, in a pair of purple LuluLemon yoga pants, an Outcast tank-top, and her hair held back by one of those obviously 80’s headbands that’s white but red and blue stripes in the middle. Her green glazs coloured eyes reflect the TV as she watches Dylan Thomas and his significant other Lisandra, give their response. Her grin turns to a frown as she hears a knock at the door. She looks around seeing that her friends in the form of Roxxie G and The HeadMistress aren’t there to answer the door for her, and who knows where Chuck is. She hits the mute button and gets up to answer the door.~

Veronica: Who’re! I haven’t seen you since the daring rescue of Carmen! Even if it was watching it on OCW TV. Great work by the way, that Velveteen Rabbit Hole or whatever is so trash. Glad you could get her out.

~The fans cheer for the former GM (sure have a lot of former GM’s) and she nods at Veronica in agreement. Who’re smiles and with the OCW microphone in hand gets things underway.~

Who’re: Yeah we had to get her out of that hell hole but I haven’t seen you face to face since you pestered me for your first OCW contract!

Veronica: Ah, that was Victoria.

Who’re: Right… So I am doing interviewing duty. Cheesy fell into a bottle from our Arby’s Vodka sponsor, AKB is MIA, and Leo is busy being Leo, you know, Classic OCW, baby!

~Veronica smiles and laughs with Who’re for a few seconds but the smile turns into one “let’s get on with it”.~

Who’re: At Death March you revealed to the world that you were the woman behind the Guy Fawkes match after defeating Fuckin’ Wendy and Whisper Mendoza winning the Trans-Atlantic Championship. Then at the direction of Marcus Welsh you almost ended Whisper’s career. Now you will be defending your strap against Dylan Thomas who was pulled out of his match for the Craze Championship, how do you feel about it?

~Veronica raises her brow and purses her lips with a small shrug.~

Veronica: Dylan Thomas? One hell of a competitor, I have been watching some of his previous matches, previous promos but one has to wonder where the dude’s head was at wearing a silly costume for some silly parallel to a video game. Even if someone hadn’t thrown in the towel he would’ve caught pneumonia and lost anyway. Detroit gets pretty cold in January, so hopefully, he doesn’t dress up like a fool and have to continuously warm up over a fire barrel inside a crack house, might get jacked on the fumes haha.

~Who’re chuckles but moves on quickly.~

Who’re: Dylan didn’t seem to enjoy the poem that little Chuck left on their locker room door, and talked about not playing games and claims he will be the next Trans-Atlantic Champion, what do you have to say about that?

~Veronica scoffs and smirks.~

Chuck: Excuse me, Toots.

~Who’re looks around and Veronica looks down with nodding towards Good Guy Security, Chuck, as he walks by with a plate full of Poblano Pepper Chicken Nuggets. Who’re shakes her head as it’s the first time she’s seen the little guy.~

Veronica: He can chastise me for having a doll, but as you saw he walked by and is just over there eating nuggets so it's not like I carry him everywhere. He can think I wrote the poem to get under his skin but the truth is I have always been a fan of poetry and just wanted to share that with him, but also let him know what I am capable of at the same time. I went through what is called The Great Purgening to get to Death March to win the championship I had earned a shot at before the purge, and if he thinks I’m letting this Trans Atlantic championship go as easily as he let go of the Craze championship, he has another thing coming. He says he worked hard to be Face of the Year but it was no small feat to be Newcomer of the Year and Angle of the Year in a place as great as OCW, not some sister or brother promotion. There is no better promotion than OCW. 

Who’re: Strong and Proud you definitely are. Well I am sure you are busy but thank you for taking the time to give us your thoughts! Good luck at Access Denied! I know Outcast the OCW Champion has a lot of faith betting on you in the OCW Sportsbook.

~Veronica shifts her eyes to the right and a shit-eating grin comes across her face, giving a small nod with it.~

Veronica: Well, that’s good to know. Have a good night Who’re.

~Who’re walks away and Veronica turns around heading back into her locker room, and Chuck holding a nugget in his little right hand, smiles like the little shit head he is.~

Chuck: The old champ bet on ya, huh? Be good for you to get some Senior even if you have been enjoying Junior since the gift exchange.

Veronica: Don’t be rude Chuck, he’s the cornerstone of the great company and it’s a hell of a motivator.

Chuck: Yeah, it is a great vote of confidence especially from the PILLar of OCW. Get it? PILLAR? Huh?!

~Veronica shakes her head, she wouldn’t admit, but she laughed on the inside. We fade to a merchandise commercial for the newest OCW t-shirt.~

[Veronica Strader]

~We open in catering where Veronica Strader sits with her girls, Roxxie G and Marcy (also known as The Head Mistress) having dinner, with an open bottle of Patron Gold (always be nervous of the woman who drinks tequila out of a rocks glass or wine like it is Gatorade) the women are in a deep conversation.~

Roxxie G: I mean, you totally got this defence at Access Denied, Ronnie.

Marcy: Dylan hasn’t even said anything since Who’re came to talk to you. You are getting in his head.

Roxxie G: She totally isn’t giving him head, Marcy.

~The Head Mistress goes to correct her but Ronnie waves her off and continues sipping on her Tequila.~

Veronica: Speaking of giving head, your girl Ronnie does need to get laid. I was deeply buried in Victoria’s psyche for a decade and as great you two are, that’s not my preferred way to swing.

~She stirs her rocks glass that is low on the golden liquid from Mexico so she grabs the bottle, pulls the cork out, fills her glass back up, and takes some ice from the bucket on the table to drop into her golden liquid. The sound of ice cubes hitting liquid was one of her favourite sounds. After a stir of her pinkie, she feels a tug at her jeans. Chuck hops up on the chair beside her, places his Chef knife down on the table.~

Chuck: Ladies, did I hear someone needs to get laid? I’m your man.

~The women start to laugh, and his little red eyebrow goes up.~

Chuck: What’s so damned funny?

Marcy: Do you even have what she’s looking for?

Chuck: You can order attachments from Japan. Small, Medium and OH MY Damballa!

~Veronica shakes her head, smiles at him, and slicks his hair back with her hand.~

Veronica: That’s sweet of you, Chuck, but that would be also very weird. If I am ever in one of those Tiffany dolls, we can talk about it.

~She kisses his cheek and he blushes. Apparently, he can do that.~

Chuck: I’ll remember that, boss! I got that letter printed for you. Just needs your John Hancock. Or is it Jane Hancock?

~Veronica shrugs.~

Veronica: People watching probably didn’t even understand that but good to hear. I’ll sign it now.

~Chuck pulls a folded piece of paper and smooths it out on the table sliding it over to her along with a pen that looks like a Jalapeno ( stolen from Poblano's Office). She finishes and hands it back to him.~

Veronica: You know what to do?

Chuck: Wouldn’t be here if I didn’t, boss.

~She gives the little guy a kiss on the cheek as he hops down from the chair all smiles, kinda like the ones he has when “Allegedly” killing someone. Veronica looks across the table at her entourage of two.~

Veronica: Well, I am gonna make a challenge. Go make sure Chuck has my left my note for Dylan Thomas, ok?

~Marcy and Roxxie nod, grabbing their drinks and bottle of tequila.~


~Left on Dylan's locker room door.~

Dylan is in the A-List Family locker room when he opens the door to get some snacks.

Dylan: Lissie! Do you want anything?

Lissandra: Maybe a coffee? I'm still working out this union stuff for Mike.

Dylan notices the note on the door.

Dylan: The fuck? 

Dylan rips the note from the door.

Dylan: Ah second grade poetry again.  This is cute...really cute.  But is this a feud or is she coming on to me?

Lissandra: What's that baby?

Dylan: Nothing! I'll be back soon honey.

Dylan shuts the door.  He scrunches up the note with a smirk.

Dylan: Two can play at this game, Strader.


We fade

[Veronica Strader]

~Veronica was in her custom locker room (apparently the Janitor before didn’t know there was a giant back room behind it) Roxxie and Marcy were nowhere in sight and Chuck is out walking the perimeter or more than likely playing Go Fish with Knifeman. She is still very much annoyed by The Lost Stranger adding Zybala to the fold. Granted she knew it did benefit her reacting in real-time for if they ever fight again in the future but it was TLS she wanted, and while she got a sample she wanted to go one on one with. She is in a pair of purple LuluLemon yoga pants, a black ladies Outcast T-shirt that is tied to her left side bearing her toned six-pack, and a headband to catch the sweet.~

Veronica: You know when said you were gonna play the game I have been playing with your head. I expected so much more than doing nothing at all.

~She obviously noticed the intruding cameraperson as she stands up and rolls up her yoga mat. She goes and sits down at the bar, reaching over to grab a water bottle.~

Veronica: I know you think what I am doing is childish, but not too much adultin’ happens in this industry if you haven’t noticed. But maybe you can answer this question: when are you going to take this match seriously? Don’t respect My belt? Don’t respect me? I sure hope not. Just a little over three weeks until we clash and will you be ready for that?

~She smirks with a scoff.~

Veronica: At the very least, you’ll begin to understand when you going off the roof and the inground pool you are aimed towards is filled with an unknown amount of water, ice, leaves from the previous Autumn season.

~She chuckles to herself.~

Veronica: But you know what? Fairytales are sometimes true, But they also are horror tales .

~fade out.~

[Dylan Thomas]

The camera cuts to Dylan Thomas staring at the camera. The setting is the A-List limousine as it drives through Hollywood.

Dylan: Veronica Strader, this isn’t a question of respect. I respect you and your talents. I respect the Trans-Atlantic title. I was just wondering how far you were willing to go. True, you’ve thrown someone off a roof to get my attention and that’s a good start but we’re going to Detroit, Strader… I expected more. In our match I’m going to show you just how hardcore Dylan Thomas can get. I brained two kids in just to mess with Duce Jones.

Dylan smiles.

Dylan: I haven’t answered your poetry because I believe if something is worth saying, it’s better in person. Would you not agree…….Chuck?

The camera pans down in the limo onto a gagged and blindfolded Chuck who keeps moving his head, wondering what’s happening.

Dylan: Oh, I'm sorry.  Your head of security is a little tied up at the moment. You can have Chuck back during OCW 24/7. But I think we’re due a sit down you and I, Strader.

[Veronica Strader]

~Sometimes it's about going back to the places you were in once before, in order to really even everything out. Now we have Veronica Strader, the alternate personality of a sweet girl named Victoria, was going back to where this new adventure started, it was back up in the rafters as she waited like the chosen one some had called her, back in the rafters where Jane Done, The Head Mistress, Rox Gobbler and most importantly for the moment, Chuck of Good Guy Security Services was gone so now she finds herself up in the rafters.~

Veronica: Dylan, why did you have to go and do something like kidnapping my Chief of Security? Isn't very cool, Dylan. I just was trying to reach out, let you know that I am training day that I can down to every second. Because unlike some hot rods around her, I know what it really takes to win. I have the upmost faith that Chuck will get out on his own. A cunning little shit disturber he is. You've seen him in action.

~She takes a deep breath and exhales slowly now turn her to face us.~

Veronica: No poem... this time. But I want you to know you should know who's after you.  I didn't reveal myself, I destroyed two of the Equality roster because I can. I'm not stupid enough to say something like "You'll never beat me"... but it is a very good possibility. I through my apparent off the roof of this building. I am pretty sure you already know this, see as you stooped so low to Good-Guynapping.  January 30th is approaching quickly. Tick tock, Tick took. 

~Le Fade.~

We open to somewhere in Hollywood California inside a darkened abandoned building.

?: HEY! WHERE THE FUCK AM I?

The camera zooms forward into a room illuminated by one single lightbulb and one single chair in the middle of that room.  On the chair is Veronica Strader's head of security Chuck.

Chuck: Hey, can you fuckin' hear me?! Dylan, this isn't cool and when Vee finds you, she -

Dylan: Oh, don't be so dramatic Chuckie.

Dylan steps out of the shadows and kneels down at Chuck, looking him in the eye with a smile.  

Chuck: Chuck.  Now get me out of here!

Dylan: My apologies 'Chuck'. I told you.  She can have you back just as soon as she agrees to talk.

Dylan turns to the camera.

Dylan: So what do you say Strader?  Your move.

The camera abruptly turns off.

[Veronica Strader]

~The funky guitar riff of "Just A Girl" by No Doubt pumps out of the state of the art sound system (it's OCW baby, of course it's only the best). The fans stand up and cheer loudly for the one talent that showed she truly is STRONG and PROUD. She heads down to the ring slapping the hands of a few fans along the way. She reaches ringside, climbs in and Belvedere hands her his microphone.~

Veronica: Hey there my OCW Faithful, mama missed you!

~The fans give a pop.~

Veronica: Alright Dylan, you want to talk? I am right here. Let's have a little chat you seem to be dying to have with me. You know where my locker room is. The Traitor's old utility closet that Marcus let me gut and turn in a 1500 square foot area for me and my crew. I'll be waiting.

~Veronica points her finger in the air giving a twirl to start her music, as she hands the microphone back to Belvedere and heads back up the ramp slapping a few hands along the way.~

[Dylan Thomas]

Dylan: Well Vee... you don't have to wait long.

Dylan's voice is heard from behind the curtain.  He steps out to cheers by the OCW Faithful.  This is one of those rare times when Dylan is on his own. He stands on the stage, motioning for the sound crew to cut his music.

Vee: Now where's Chuck, you son of a bitch?

Dylan: Such hostility! Just calm down. 

Dylan smirks.

Dylan: Chuck is safe, don't worry.  And he's here, in the OCW arena.  As a man of my word, you can have him back just as soon as we're done here.  Now.....

Dylan begins to walk down to the ring.

Dylan: As I said, I wanted to see what you were capable of.  After all, we're going to the murder capital of the States.

Dylan steps through the ropes.

Dylan: I just wanted to make sure your head was in the game - whichever head you're deciding to currently use anyway....

OCW Faithful: **Gasp** 

Dylan: I'm kidding! I'm kidding.  Now... look, I know previously I lost because I made a poor choice in attire and for some reason you keep fixating on that....But when we go to Detroit on January 30, it's gonna be no laughing matter and we'll go to war just as two rivals should.  Now Strader... contrary to popular belief, I do respect you and I respect your talents - I mean 6-0.  That's no joke.  You are talented, you don't need me to tell you that.  I just wanted to make sure you were done with the poetry, so I stepped the game up.  I told you two could play at this game, Strader.  But I stepped the game up to make you see that not everything in life is second grade poetry.  We're going to Detroit.... so I merely brought Detroit to you.  

Dylan smiles but as soon as his smile appears, it's gone.

Dylan: What are you prepared to do, Strader to keep that title around your waist?  Let's find out.

[Veronica Strader]

~Vee gives Dylan a bit of a smirk before she brings the microphone up to her lips.~

Veronica: You know why I am fixated on you almost freezing to death? It's because just two hours north across the Ambassador Bridge and East Bound on the 401 is where Victoria was raised, where I was raised. Big into Hockeytown as well, outdoor games, skating on parts of the Detroit River... I say all of that because it can get very cold. Now it doesn't get -40 cold like the icebox you were in, but -20 with the chill of the water, people tend to catch pneumonia, frostbite, all the lovely little things that come with winter in the Northern States and the southern ends of the Canadian provinces. Because here is the thing, I don't want to win because you didn't make the right call to be properly prepared for the possible -30 degrees Fahrenheit.

~Vee holds her hands with a "come on, now". It's a valid concern, both of the OCW stars know it.~

Veronica: I will tell you this though, there is only one mind in control and that's me. Now besides myself, Roxxie, Marcy and Marcus that doesn't bode well for anyone that is facing me. Look at mouthpiece Cross for example, once I lay the challenge he shuts right up and has nothing to say. But like I was saying, Victoria is sweet, kind, loving, and caring. Me? I'm mean, cold, calculated and I am willing to do whatever it takes to keep Magnum TA around my waist. I threw a blood relative off the roof of this arena. I'm willing to lie, cheat and steal to keep my championship, my very first title strap. No one is going to be around to throw in the towel for me but maybe Dylan, just maybe you should get your own house in order. Line up those A-Listers, force them to their knees and find out who screwed you out of your Craze Championship... the fact you haven't done that tells me one thing... that you have gone soft. Now I am heading back to my locker room, Dylan and I do truly hope that you mean what you say and that Chuck will be set free. 

~Vee goes to put the microphone down but stops herself.~

Veronica: Seriously Dylan, I ain't joking or making light of your situation... you need to figure out who your traitor is, sooner rather than later. Otherwise, it could happen all over again and if it does... well, I'll throw them into the Detroit River myself because I am not retaining MY championship that way. See you again soon, Dylan. 

~ Veronica sets the microphone on the top turnbuckle before leaving the ring to head to her locker room.~

Dylan watches Vee Strader as she walks past him.

Dylan: Go back to your locker room.  He's right where he normally is.
