{As we gear up for the first match in OCW for both Mathew Knox and Chris Spade as these two legends are set to face off and the war of words have already begun between the of them. What is expected to be a history making match between two legends who never faced off before. It has clause a lot of excitement in the ranks of OCW. The only question who will walk out the cage with their first victory in OCW?}
[We are joining Chris Spade from the comforts of his home in LA, which is a different setting compare the last time we saw him just after a heavy work out at gym, but as Chris gets ready. Chris starts speaking to a webcam set up he put together and he gone live IG live.
Spade: “Hello all my fand out there in the social media word. As we count down the days before I make my in ring debut for OCW at Masters of Macabre live from Whitechapel, London England in just one weeks’ time from well now just about. Pretty exciting I must say because I have been training really hard for this huge cage match with The Raven Mathews Knox. So I decided to take a break from that and do this IG live thing here and lets you the fans, ask the questions. I have gotten a few questions from all my socials so this should be interesting. Lets have a look at the first question,”
[Chris would pull up the first question that was sent in and reads it out loud.]
Spade: “Our first question comes from Spadefan3454, he ask me does the recent win from Mathew Knox and now knowing that he not retiring changes the way you are preparing against him? Well first off nice name, and no it doesn’t. If anything, it may change how he preparing for me. Sure its good to know that this won’t be his last match and that his run in OCW isn’t going to be short lived. As for me I am getting ready for this match the same way I have ben because I know I have a lot to proof to not only the fans of OCW, but to myself because I have been away for a while. I will admit that, and sure Matthews as been active and wrestling at other places, some would call that hm having an advantage but hard to say, because how much mentally he is ready for me while he out doing other things? You could ask that as well but he also a veteran so I know he going to be ready for war. Lets see what we have next.”
[Spade would look and scroll for the next question.]
Spade: “Our next question comes for OCW4life on Twitter, an it ask, Will we see Vicky Stone at ringside during your match with Knox? Well, I know she will be there backstage but as for as her at ringside I don’t think so. I know she is going to support me and cheer me on but she knows how I am, that when or lose I make no excuses and earn my way. The only time we are most of the time out in the ring together is when we team up. Which could be a thing down the road for sure, she knows that I am looking to make a good first impression in a brand new company so she knows how important this is all is for me. Lets see what else we got.”
[As Spade pulls up the next question on the screen.]
Spade: “This next question comes from a clear fans of Knox, his name is Theravenfans, He asks just what are my thoughts on Mathew Knox and the things he said? You know he an interesting guy and you know something I know what he trying to do, he wants to get under my skin by saying that I am in some kind of denial in my own mind about where I stand in my own career, but can’t you say the same for himself. The guy talked about knowing when its time to set away. You see what he doesn’t understand that I see things a little different than he does. He may think because I am in a Hall of fame that I am some washed up has been that doesn’t know when to end it. However while he can walk around in graves yard and whatever and be the man of the night. He thinks he has this all figure out but he doesn’t because he doesn’t know a damn thing about me outside of what I tell him about me.”
[Spade takes a drink of water as he gets the next question ready.]
Spade: “The next question comes from Iceman420, and he asking my thoughts that my first match in OCW is going to be inside of a cage. Well it is and interesting match and sure its going to be a brutal match make no mistake about it. As much as Matthew wants to talk about bloody, well he better be ready as well because he will bleed and I am not afraid to bleed either. I’m just going to point something out to Matthew, here’s a little extra challenge I have for him, since he feels that I am in dental and that the hall of fame means the retired and dead right? That what he said didn’t he. Well if that is really the case, end me. When we get in that cage in about a week from now. I dare you to end me. Put the last nail in my casket or whatever metaphor you want to call it, but here what I know, you won’t because you don’t have the balls to do it. You know why I know? Because I’ve heard for so long in my career of people who thought they knew better about me than I myself does and yet I’m still here and most of them have gone missing years ago.”
[Chris pauses for a second as he brings up the next question.]
Spade: “This one comes from Jane456, she ask what are my thoughts with dealing with a man as mysterious as Mathew? And how do you prepare for someone like him? Well preparing its not that hard because it based on his ability which I have seen his work and yes he damn good make no mistake about that. But if he thinks because he walks around graveyard and whatever is going to scare me or both me, he wrong. I’ve dealt with just about any kind of wrestler you can think of. I dealt with guys who claimed to be the most extreme and they didn’t stop me. I’ve dealt with Giantt and they fallen over. I felt with the super heavy weight guy and he fallen, and I have dealt with the darkness before and they all said they would end me. The real question should be to Matthew in the sense of what makes him different from any of them? That makes you wonder, doesn’t it? And that a question on he could try and answer on his own time.”
[Chris goes to bring up the next question as he takes a drink of water before continues on.]
Spade: “So the next question comes from DeanMorgon1, and he asks When joining OCW you did bring up Matthews name in the first interview you had. As talent you where looking forward to facing, How much did you know about him before joining OCW and before the match became a reality? Well, I knew about his achievements and when you look to sign with a different company you have to look at who is there. I knew Matthew was very accomplished as a talent. Now regardless how we feel about each other personality, I respect what he has done. Now I may not agree with his views on what a Hall of fame wrestler means, in the same way as he does. He sees it as someone who should be retired and or is dead. I see it as someone who done so much in a company that it was recognized by that company. I’ve seen plenty of companies who has done that and it didn’t matter if the talent was active or retired. What you don’t know is that I was still a full time wrestler when I was inducted. Now you can call it a sign that the company was telling me to go but I didn’t and won several championships along the way. Still got invites to have matches when I thinking maybe it was time. But after a lot of time off and my no so banged up, I feel I still had something to offer in this sport. Now people can say what they want but it is at the end my choices and only I can prove someone wrong. I will also be the first to admit if I don’t go out there and have a steeler of a match with Matthew or anybody else. That I am just an embarrassment in that ring, in a sense that I can’t go. Its not about wins or losses to know if your done or not. Its if you can still keep up in that ring and still have a match people talk about how great it was. This cage match, I am going show that I can still deliver.”
[Chris stretches in his chair and he brings up the next question.]
Spade: “I think we have enough time for one more question before I start wraping things up. So this question comes from Kamelle34 and she asks a lot fellow wrestlers have been asking you to brand out to other wrestling companies after spending so long in one place What made to pick OCW out of all the places you could choice from? You know that is a good question and I don’t know the best way to answer it but you are right that Ive been asked for years to branch out. I always kind of blew it off because I guess loyalty but now its like why not try before its really time to stop. Now I can’t tell you how long this will last because I don’t know. However OCW just seemed like the right fit. Yes it helped that my girlfriend Vicky signed here but I looked at the roster and the talent and I saw a good group of talent that I wanted to face. I’m sure the same can be said about everywhere but still and Matthew was one of them and even if he himself just signed not long before I did, you notice when impact players sign. That sends the message that is the place to be. Now here I am about to get side a cage with the guy. Its crazy to think about but for me excited for it. I will say that sure he may call what I did a cheap shot, I call it a receipt but make no mistake about it inside of that cage its anything goes and all about survival. Matthew, you don’t know what happens when you put me in a cage. You don’t know what kind of a wrestler I become. You can talk about the blood, hell I’ve bleed before and I am not afraid to bleed again but make no mistake about it that you will bleed too. As I wrap things up here I will end this by saying this, you career was on the line not long ago and you took that gamble and it paid off. The question is now, can you survived this? Think about it.”
