THE SWEETEST CANDY STORE ON EARTH!
Either that was true, or straight up false advertisement. Those thoughts entered Lexi's mind after seeing those words upon entering a candy store located in Los Angeles. She browsed through the large selection of candy. It was like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory came to life before her very eyes, grabbing and eyeing the candy on the shelves, but she didn't seem to find what she was looking for.
The male worker made his way over to assist her. She noticed his creepy, big eyes staring her down as he moved closer enough. Lexi dreaded his presence already, but pretended to smile and be kind.
Male worker: “Hi there. It seems like you are having trouble finding something. Is there anything in particular you like?”
Lexi Gold: “Violent candy.”
The worker looked confused by her response. He thought maybe his hearing aids weren't working properly.
Male worker: “Pardon, ma'am?”
Lexi Gold: “Oh my bad.. I was daydreaming again. Do you have a Sugar Valentine candy? I mean I am sure it's gross and no one asks for it, but curious minds want to know if you have it in stock.”
Male worker: “I don't believe I have ever heard of such a name. Is it something new they came out with? You could try looking online, or perhaps another store around here.”
Lexi smirked knowing this was the answer she was expecting, but wanted to hear it anyway.
Lexi Gold: “Nah. He is very unheard of and probably sour. Unlike me who is full of sweetness.”
Male worker: “Is there anything else I can help you with?”
She continued browsing the candy, then stopped when she saw something, covering her mouth in shock as she let out a loud scream, which alarmed the worker to rush over.
Male worker: “What's wrong?”
Lexi Gold: “Why are there scorpion lollipops? Are you and your customers so evil as to eat an innocent scorpion for your own personal enjoyment? How dare you, sir. How dare you. Just for that I hope a scorpion bites you tonight while you're in bed. I am taking my business elsewhere!”
Before he could answer, she grabbed the candies off the shelves and threw them on the floor, storming away angrily and left the store with no intentions of ever going back.
“I'm not angry that I lost my match against Jason Cashe, because there is a silver lining in this situation and that is I still can compete for OCW. The goal has always been to join one of the best companies out there, but unfortunately my hands were full at the time, which made it impossible to join, yet here I am embarking on a new journey with so many goals in mind and new blood waiting for me at the table. My next one awaits me at Massacre.”
She stares hard into the camera as her eyes light up at the thought of not only another chance to prove herself, but more competition coming her way is what she yearned for.
“I don't care if you have some ridiculous name like Sugar Valentine, or Candy Coats.. you will receive the same treatment for me in the ring regardless. I am the wild card of OCW. Everyone got a small glimpse of that in the Margarita Mix and will continue to see more of me as time goes on.”
She pauses to reflect back on things.
“My last two losses would have made any weak minded individual storm away and leave the company, but luckily I am stronger than what people give me credit for.”
“It's quite funny that this Sugar Valentine is like a ghost and only shows up occasionally. Well, Casper I am going to make sure you fly your ghostly ass to the ring so I can give you a beating that was owed to Jason Cashe and Cyrus Riddle last week. It's time I collect my first win at your expense and show the world a serious side of Lexi Gold that will be seen in a matter of days.”
