Mike Zybala told you all that he was sorry and had no ill-will toward me, but you should all see the lowballed negotiations for my contract behind closed doors. And he thinks he got the better of me with that garbage contract I signed-- except that he's not very smart. He doesn't understand that I let him lowball me. He doesn't realize that I was prepared for it. He wasn't prepared for my only real perk:
"First class travel of his choosing".
I want you to remember that, Zybala. I want you to remember that when you're cutting checks to the company that will be providing all of my travel. I want you to remember that when you realize that I've just become the highest paid athlete in the history of OCW. And I will offer you this ONE OPPORTUNITY to restructure my deal to the following:
$20,000 per appearance, period. That is a $1million deal if I show up every single show. $5,000 bonus per match victory $10,000 bonus for a title win or successful defense I will pay my own travel, but OCW will pay for a condo of my choosing in Key West pending our mutual agreement on the price. I retain the rights to my name and likeness, which OCW can in turn lease for merchandising rights in separate negotiation. And finally, if anyone receives a higher paying deal in the future, I have the right to immediately renegotiate.
You can take those terms or leave them. But I can PROMISE you that this is a better deal for you than the one that I originally negotiated. The one that you are ink-to-paper OBLIGATED to honor, or I will pursue vigorous litigation lead by several men who own very expensive cars and have Steins in their names. So you let me know, here and publicly, what your decision is.
