Pryde, what are you atoning for?
You seem to be hiding from something, running away from the sins of the past. That is the one thing you and I have in common. Our sins have or are catching up with us both. Yet we differ on how we deal with them. I face them head on, dealing with the positive and negative consequences for each of my actions. You...you step in the wrestling ring. You think that kicking and hitting someone will help you with cleansing your heart.
You do not realize what you are getting yourself into with me.
It makes me wonder exactly why you got into wrestling. Was it to make amends with yourself? Was it to try and make amends with someone else? A child perhaps? There are a lot of questions that have no answers. You are stepping in the ring this week with me, The Devil himself. So tell me, will it be worth it?
The thing is I hold no regret when I take you out this week. My goal as a singles wrestler is to get to the top in points and go for the Central Championship. I can not do that with you in my way. My sins will be atoned for, and I will go on ahead of you.
You will have to sit back, watch and learn from the Devil.

Jeremy was sitting in the window of his best friend Dylan's training center. One would think he would be training, but a piece of news had him shocked to the core.
DM: Your mother just passed away...
He never had a relationship with his mother until he got into wrestling. Over the last few years, they were growing and the relationship was changing. Now...his heart was hurting and he could barely focus. Dylan came over to him, a bottle of water in tow.
DM: "You gonna be all right?"
JS: "As all right as I can be Dyl. How fast did she..."
DM: "Sharon was with her last night, taking care of her. She went to the kitchen to get her a plate of food and she hollered for her. Sharon dropped the plate and called the paramedic when your mom was convulsing on the chair. Sharon did CPR but..."
He was shaking at this point, but deep breathing had calmed him down. It was good that his wife taught him the benefit of deep breathing. He then pulled out a leather jacket from his bag. It had felt like forever since he got the jacket.
JS: "I have plans on wearing this to the ring Monday, for her."
DM: "You know, Serena and Sharon would be totally proud of you. You were such a hot head. You used to blow up at every little thing. Since you met Ti, you have changed."
JS: "She has taught me to focus all this anger in ring. Now, Pryde gets the wrath of the Devil this week. After that, I get to put my mother in the ground. The match is for her."
Dylan smiled and left Jeremy to his thoughts. Jeremy just held the jacket, smiling softly to himself. He then pulled his phone out, sending a text to Tiami.
Mom passed. Bury her Tuesday. Love you so much baby.
