The night was like any other, well aside from the rain that was coming down outside. Inside of the locker room though, the electricity couldn’t be more out of control. After closing his cell phone and placing it back in his gym bag, he was waiting anxiously for that perfect moment. Ever since he had come to Japan, Noah thought about the moment where he would compete for the top prize in this business, gaining the honor and respect of the greater Japanese population in one fell swoop.
With the water still dripping from his black hair with purple and green highlights, his Messiah of Mayhem tee shirt hanging from his back pocket, and sound of the fans screaming in his head, Noah Mackenzie was as ready as he was ever going to be. The show was only just beginning for the fans as the sounds of the rain dropping hard and fast upon the roof of the arena grows a little louder.
As the match comes to an end, the moment coming closer, Noah decides to try to suppress his nerves, heading for the nearest exit with a cigarette in his hand. As he quickly sneaks out of the door, he lights the cigarette, taking a long drag off of it, exhaling a thick white plume into the air as his phone begins to ring. Pulling his phone out of his pocket, the signal drops, showing Noah that he missed the call from his best friend, his brother Ryan. The call he’d been waiting for all night. Noah cursed himself for it, then was taken off guard by the wind’s speed beginning to pick up on him as the rain grew in speed and size.
Something wasn’t sitting right with Noah all of a sudden, but he tried to call Ryan back as he headed back into the arena, flicking his cigarette into the deluge. Even inside the arena, the signal is shoddy at best, making the international call a bit impossible. With only two matches left in the evening, the time was looming. Suddenly, the lights began to flicker slightly at first. Panic began to slowly spread throughout the arena as the flickering became more often. Noah just stood frozen, watching in awe as the initial panic of the storm had quickly spread like wildfire, bordering on pure anarchy right before his eyes.
The screams of terror were only muted by the sounds of the wind and rain pounding upon the arena, ultimately knocking the power out completely. With the pitch black world outside and in, the arena became the sight of mass hysteria and quickly. Noah watched, still unable to move as people bounced off of him, shoving him around like a rag doll in hopes of getting somewhere safer. Right now, with this kind of pandemonium, the name Mackenzie meant nothing. After tripping over a child, Noah looked up just in time to see the winds outside take a nearby trashcan, sending it slamming through the glass doors that make up the entrance of the arena. The sound of the glass shattering incited a more vocal environment of fear.
Noah scrambled to his feet and began trying to follow the voices in a general direction, though unable to allow the image of the shattering out of his mind. As Noah follows the terrified mob towards the center of the arena, he notices all kinds of debris, vehicles, and such being thrown around by the very same winds that are now peeling slowly at the roof above them. It wasn’t long at all before Noah found himself crammed into a corner, tucked up with a child in his arms, covering it’s head for safety as the storm outside continued it’s siege upon the arena. Mackenzies have been known for their fearless attitude, but on this night, Noah was completely consumed by it.
As the night tore on, eventually, authorities evacuated the arena, leading everybody to safety as best as they can. One man who didn’t join them however was Noah Mackenzie. Completely consumed by the fear that overtaken this city due to such a natural disaster, Noah broke away from the crowd, and made his way deeper into the city on some kind of self-imposed rescue mission. The elements were beating the hell out of Noah, but it didn’t stop him from making it two blocks before finally seeking shelter in a nearby school. As he gets inside, the petrified people look at him as if they were looking upon the dead. Noah could not figure out for the life of him why the looks were coming his way, at least, not until he suddenly felt his adrenaline begin to waiver, causing him to suddenly feel the effects of the blood loss.
Once he was seated and his shirt was torn off of him, a few of the refugees were quick to tend to the multiple tiny wounds Noah had suffered running through the Tsunami for as long as he did. Exhausted, sore, and bleeding immensely, it wasn’t long before Noah’s eyes became too heavy, even for a Mackenzie…[/i]

The camera opens up to show the Lubbock skyline, light up at night. A few moments pass before the scene fades and reopens inside of a random hallway, it’s white painted brick walls providing the backdrop as Noah and Miranda stand proudly in the center of the screen. A few moments pass before Noah steps forward and begins to speak as Miranda’s hand slithers over his shoulder.
“Why Noah Why?! That’s all I’ve been hearing since Resurrection. Why did I screw Dangerous Dan? Let me clear this up for all of you real quick. I didn’t screw Dan at all. Gavin came out and presented an opportunity, and I took it. The week before Resurrection, when Dan was busy burying his boots into me with two other guys in that mugging, where was your concern then? Why wasn’t he being asked the same question?! I’ll tell you why, because you WANTED him to win. Me? I was merely a wild card. I was entertainment for all of you, but not somebody you were willing to put your chips on right? Well guess what? You all guessed wrong!”
Noah starts laughing as Miranda leans forward, planting a kiss onto Noah’s cheek as he continues on.
“Gavin saw a gold mine in the Mackenzie name, and he did what none of you were smart enough to. Now, he’s on the winning team headed into Massacre. This week, I fulfill the promise I made before Resurrection, and I become the OCW Internet Champion. I’ve been saying from the beginning that I am the best, and after Massacre, you’re not going to have any choice but to admit it. I mean, let’s be honest here, who really is there that’s going to stop me? Kenshin Takamura? You’ve got to be kidding me! This man barely won the battle royal at Resurrection, and you think that means he can hang with me? Perhaps you lot are more delusional than I imagined.”
Noah shakes his head, the contempt dripping from every word that rushes between his lips.
“Kenshin, I’ll give credit where it’s due. You fought your ass off in that battle royal to earn your spot in this match, but it was all in vain. You see, no matter what the legions of Kenshin worshippers may try to lead you to believe, you aren’t ready to go head to head with the Messiah of Mayhem. You speak of honor like that means something in this business. Kenshin my friend, I’m sure you’ve heard the old saying and it’s never been more true than in this business. There is no honor among thieves, it’s dog eat dog if you will. If you want to rise above the critics and the losers around here, you need to do something big. For me, I left my station as a cliff note in this company when I scooped Danny B up and dropped him on his head. Now I look to cement that impact by doing the same thing to you this week in Lubbock.”
Noah doesn’t miss a beat as he continues, the confidence and determination radiating from his deepest core like a beacon.
“You can prepare for interference, chaos, controversy, or whatever else you may think will happen, but nothing, and I do mean nothing can prepare you for what’s going to happen when that bell rings. With gold on the Kenshin, you can bet your bottom dollar that I will stop at nothing to leave with the Internet Championship in my possession. I’ve been watching you and while you may feel like a shooting star with all of the hype beginning to surround you, but come Massacre, you’re going to find out that I am the Supernova! High stakes, high pressure, high flying, high impact, that’s what I’m about. I’ve never once backed away from what I am about or how far I’m willing to go. I’ve said from the beginning that there is a reason that my name has become synonymous with victory, and at Massacre, you will be receiving a first hand experience as to what that truly means. Before you post another meaningless diatribe attempting to question or insult me, I suggest you lace up my boots and walk a mile in them.”
Noah’s eyes now burn with an inner fire rarely seen in him as the disdain begins to taint every sentence he speaks. Miranda’s other hand reaches around him now, hugging his waist tightly as he continues on.
“You’re stepping into my world, simply a tourist. Before you try to put yourself on my level, think about where I come from… Twenty-Six Championships, Four Continents, Thirteen Countries, Three Hall of Fames, One Mackenzie… Can you say the same? Until that day comes Kenshin, don’t you EVER try to compare yourself to me because every single time, you will be disappointed to learn that your arms are too short to box with God! For me, this isn’t about the glory or the acknowledgement of being a champion, oh no. It’s about proving that I am the best in the world and when I raise that title high at Massacre, you won’t be able to doubt it any longer. I don’t need the support of the masses, I don’t need the recognition from my peers. What I need is for everybody who has ever tuned in to a single OCW to remember the name Noah Mackenzie, because before long, it will be in the history books, I promise you that.”
Noah lets out a deep breath now as Miranda presses her body against his back, resting her chin on his shoulder with an arrogant smirk of her own.
“There will be blood Kenshin. There will be chaos. There will be tears, and there will be war. One thing there will not be is a Takamura victory. No more catchphrases, no more gimmicks. At Massacre, you are going to find yourself crashing back down from whatever cloud you’re riding upon these days, and it’s going to happen because you will have to face facts Kenshin… I am simply better than you. Your fall from grace is going to be a violent one my friend, I guarantee that. No matter how much you want to be champion Kenshin, I want it more. No matter how far you’re willing to go to realize the dream, I’ll go that much farther. You see, when you stop pandering to the wants of others and focusing on the needs of yourself, opportunities present themselves to you that you would have never thought possible. I took the risk and look where I am now? I’m standing here with a beautiful woman clinging to me as I tell you about my ascension to the status of Champion. In just two weeks time, everything changed for me. When Brianna took my spot in the Central Championship match, I thought for sure that I was going to have to start at the bottom and work my way back up the hard way. Now, here I stand, looking at stepping into the limelight and all because I quit letting the sheep direct the wolf.”
The camera now zooms in on Noah’s face a little more, the shadows cast highlighting his chiseled features.
“Massacre is a very fitting name this week because that’s what awaits you in Lubbock. When that bell rings and you and I are finally face to face, the fans are going to be left in utter shock as I drag you from pillar to post, demonstrating to you and anybody else who doubts me why I am the hottest commodity in professional wrestling today. The way I see it Kenshin, you should feel honored to even be allowed to be in the ring with me at Massacre. The result is inevitable, and this nonsense is merely a formality. I’ve said it a million times Kenshin, but I have never meant it more than I do today… Sticks and stones will break your bones…”
Miranda chuckles as she speaks up before Noah has a chance.
“But Noah’s gonna kill you!”
