The Incredible One headed to Vengeance Pro on July 13th

Breaking news from the outside world of OCW...

Earlier today, wrestling promotion Vengeance Pro (https://twitter.com/VengeanceProW) announced via Twitter that they were allowing outside competitors to challenge their roster members, including champions. The Incredible One, OCW Hall of Famer and former OCW Champion saw this tweet, with one man in particular being a champion.

Cyrus Riddle

Those knowing the history of TIO knows both these wrestlers were members of Boardwalk Wrestling. TIO won the All In 2 rumble, besting 29 other competitors for a chance to challenge Cyrus Riddle for Boardwalk's ultimate title, the Atlantic City Championship. They competed at Dead Man's Hand, October 1st, 2015 in a Last Man Standing match. A match for the ages and one of the best BW main events ever produced, Cyrus Riddle bested TIO when TIO couldn't respond to the ten count, though he was mere milliseconds from doing so. The animosity between the two of them suggested a second match was going to take place but due to TIO having to take a hiatus, the match never happened.

Fast forward to now. After a few exchanges on twitter, Vengeance Pro has booked the match. The Incredible One will travel to Vengeance Pro on July 13th to face off against Cyrus Riddle, and attempt to take his Gold Rush Championship in the process.

OCW officials are said to be optimistic in regards to this bit of news.

"We are always confident when one of our talents step outside of OCW to compete elsewhere. OCW features the highest quality of competition so we feel every member of our roster is more than ready to face the best other promotions have to offer."

Rumor has it OCW offered their services for this encounter.

"Yes, we offered to help officiate the match. We promised to call it right down the middle...and by the middle we mean ENSURING A TIO WIN...however, that will not be happening. Apparently this company wants to keep things on an even playing field - whatever."

And when asked if this will impact TIO's Lost at Sea match against Bradley Carrington, OCW had this to say...

"Absolutely not. OCW wrestlers understand that OCW comes first in their careers. TIO was very careful in organizing his schedule to ensure that this special match did not impact his upcoming encounter with 'The Professor' Bradley Carrington."
