Ring Entrance:
*"Breadline" by Megadeth begins to play as the lights dim. Smoke billows from the aisle as Rick Mad appears from the darkness. His eyes shoot all over the place and an eerie feeling sets in as his eyes could give the Devil himself the hebejeebees. Rick now focuses his eyes on the ring as he slowly walks down the aisle. Reaching the ring, he slowly climbs to the apron and peers around the arena. The crowd is mixed based on the mystery presenting itself. Rick dives under the top rope and into the ring. He climbs the top turn buckle and just peers out at the crowd with his scary eyes as he jumps down and back into the ring, death glaring the referee.*
CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Base: Corey Taylor (2016 Slipknot)
Brief Bio:
Rick Mad began his wrestling career in 1999 when he joined WXW. He became a staple in that federation winning the WXW Heavyweight title on six occasions. Rick was involved in a blood feud with Pickax culminating in a career versus career match at Monster's Ball II in which Rick lost, leaving WXW all together in 2002.
While Rick looked for another place to call home, he was involved in a freak accident. No information gives us the what/why/where/how all we know is that Rick was badly injured in some sort of accident that left his face badly scarred to which he has worn a mask ever since.
In 2006, Rick won a HWF Battle for All tournament for a shot at the World Heavyweight champion. The current champion was Ethan Carone, a pretty boy. Rick was not only able to defeat Carone to become HWF World Heavyweight champion, but he also burnt Carone badly, scarring his face and putting him out of wrestling altogether. After that, Rick was blacklisted from wrestling. He was able to stay busy on the independent circuit, but never nothing of his glory years with WXW.
Marcus Welsh saw some old Rick Mad tapes and reached out to Rick, stopping at anything to get him on board.
