OCW Championship Odds
PerZag and MJ Bell are scheduled to face off for the OCW Title at Massacre. It’s a match nearly three years in the making. Odds makers have been calculating numbers for weeks and, today, the official Vegas odds were released.
MJ Bell -200
PerZag +180
It’s almost too close to call. MJ Bell, the champion, is the favorite but not by much.
Chad Vargas Unhappy?
It’s no secret that The Confederate Icon has had it rough in 2017. The losses keep piling up. There’s only so much management can say to stifle the unrest. Vargas faces Robbie Rayder this week…another loss could prove disastrous. Hopefully the former OCW Champion hangs in there until he can discover what’s missing and get back to his winning ways.
Bob Grenier Struggling
It was a HUGE win for Nathan Dravers. One that shocked OCW fans. A true feel good moment. Unfortunately, for every winner…there has to be a loser. And, once again, this result saw the former OCW Champion, Bob Grenier taking the loss. Like Vargas, Grenier hasn’t had it easy since returning to OCW. He’s seemed distracted. OCW fans are pulling for their beloved star, hoping he can regain his focus and return to form soon.
The Aptitude Riding High
It was a GLORIOUS victory for The Aptitude at Massacre. They continue to show why OCW Management put so much effort into signing them. It looks as though there is no stopping the trio. And now, with Matt Meyhu’s Savage Title opportunity – more gold could be in their immediate future.
Chaotic’s Rise
A lot of people expected Robbie Rayder to emerge victorious last week in the Ascension Contender Triple Threat. However it was Chaotic who claimed victory. The masked lucha star now has a date set with Max Shade in just under two weeks for a shot at his Ascension Championship. Most people would say Chaotic doesn’t stand much of a chance…however, he’s been proving people wrong since his debut…could he do it again?
Max Shade’s Week Off
We’re told Max Shade was given the week off by OCW management as a show of support for all the hard work he’s put in. Max Shade has defeated every wrestler put in front of his path…a week’s rest to focus on Chaotic is well deserved.
Damian K’ Reaches a Decision?
Rumors are swirling that Damian K’…the Oh Shit Contract Holder, has made a decision on who he wants to cash in on. I’m told this cash in could happen at any time…
OCW Survivor to Break STARZ Record
STARZ executives are expecting a record breaking number on Friday when OCW Survivor Season 1 makes its debut. The amount of attention drawn by OCW Survivor has been unexpected. It’s overwhelmed every projection and is already considered a tremendous success. Be sure to tune in on Friday for the debut episode.
Rebel set for Big Push?
OCW officials have taken note of Rebel’s improvement since his debut. I’m told he was so impressive against Drew Stevenson that plans are in motion to push Rebel higher up the OCW ladder. Some people in the OCW office see Rebel as a ‘future OCW champion’.
Rookie’s Galore for Massacre
Bradley Carrington, Kodi, Ruby Rose, and Jade Spritz all make their OCW debuts on Monday. OCW is excited about all four newcomers and what they bring to the table. It will be interesting to see who stands out the most this Monday at Massacre.
Mack O’Connor to AA?
It’s been suggested. O’Connor’s drinking has seemingly spiraled out of control. Will he seek rehab? Counseling? Or will he continue to barrel through his issues while handing out beatings inside the OCW ring? Given his success in 2017 it would seem deleterious to switch things up at this point.
Angola Hosting OCW
The Knife Man and Who’Re are slated to be in Angola, Louisiana this Monday to interview the writer of a letter Eastern European claimed to be the winner of OCW’s Make a Wish contest. If everything checks out, it would appear OCW would hold a charity event in Angola.
Josie Barnes makes it Official
She had shown interest in OCW but had to finish her training. Well, Josie finished her training this week and signed to compete in OCW. Her first match will take place on Monday, April 17th.
Marcus Welsh finalizing plans for June 19th Super Show
I’m told GM Welsh has picked out a location and name for the June 19th super show. Plans for an announcement are already in the works. He is very excited about the potential of this show as it will be the first event in 2017 to take place outside of the OCW Arena.
Caution Enjoying Retirement
In case you were wondering…Caution has been enjoying the retired life. What that means, exactly, we’re not sure. But rest assured the old man is happy.
