The camera fades in to show a series of highlights from all around the world, each of them containing Noah Mackenzie in the many aspects of his career from his many title reigns, his hall of fame plaques, and then highlights his high speed, high impact, high flying style. As the package comes to a close, the screen fades a countdown clock, ticking down from the 15 seconds. At the end of the countdown, a buzzer sounds, then the words “Let the Mayhem Commence” appear on the screen.
The visual now shatters, bringing the scene to life as the camera now finds Noah Mackenzie as enters into what appears to be a small office of some sort. Sitting behind the desk, her feet crossed upon the top it, is Noah’s best friend and manager, Miranda Roman. As the fluorescent bulbs overhead cause the room to be bathed in a hazy yellow glow. With a smile on her face, she looks at Noah and the camera, rising from her seat behind his desk and moving towards him.
“So I got an email the other day that said you went through with my advice and inked a deal with OCW. You have no idea how happy that makes me Noah. This place is doing some kind of grand reopening, and being able to pull you out of your so-called retirement may very well be exactly what this place needed to truly open with a bang.”
Noah shakes his head and smirks, knowing that she’s goading him because of the camera. With the smirk growing on his face, he accepts Miranda’s embrace, wrapping his arms around her, hugging her tight.
“Well you and I have been in and out of this business together for going on ten years Noah, if there’s anyone in the world that deserves every bit of hype they have, it’s you.”
She looks at the camera and then nudges Noah.
“As much as I love these little chats we have though, that camera right there doesn’t care. Something tells me that their presence was requested in hopes of hearing the Messiah of Mayhem give his thoughts on his debut.”
Noah turns now, looking at the camera, the smile growing on his face as he does.
“Well then have a seat sweetheart and watch while I catch lightning in a bottle!”
Noah pauses for a moment as Miranda confidently leans back against the desk, folding her arms across her chest as Noah stands up a bit more straight, the smile on his face bending into a confident grin.
“So this is what you have been waiting for am I right? Ever since news broke of my contract signing here in OCW, all I have heard about is the hype beginning to build about my return to the ring. Now for the handful of you out there that don’t know who I am, allow me to release you from the rock you’ve been under and introduce myself. My name is Noah Mackenzie and as if that weren’t enough right there to put you on the edge of your seat, I am going to explain what that means. When I debut at Massacre, Richard and Irvin Hill are going to feel it first hand, but everybody watching at home or in the back are going to witness the coming of the gold standard in this business, the measuring stick of this industry if you will…”
Noah pauses for a moment, the confidence building in his voice when he continues.
“Now I’ve been watching OCW for a couple of weeks now, and honestly, it appears to me that this debut is but a formality before my run to the top begins. Now, allow me to be brief but hopefully effective here, If any of the three of us believed even for a moment that either of you were going to be able to beat me, the match would be one on one. In all honesty, this match was booked simply for me to showcase what I am capable of, and doing so in a way that will leave every fan in the arena more than pleased that they spent their money to come see me. For anyone who knows me, you know that I pride myself on being the best that this industry has ever seen. From bell to bell, in a sold out arena or a bar that holds 50, I bring out the best in everybody I stand in the ring with, then I show them why I am still that much better. Richard and Irvin, such is your future. Don’t get down on yourselves about it though, I mean after all, you two are going to lead a long line of people who have been left to kneel before the Messiah of Mayhem.”
Miranda nods her head proudly as she moves around the desk, loving the fact that when Noah is like this, he’s unstoppable. Without missing a beat, Noah now takes a seat on the edge of the desk as he continues on.
“Now both of you have been suffering in OCW, unable to pick up the elusive first victory. I don’t know what that feels like, but I’m sure it won’t last forever. I mean, you two have to possess something that resembles talent, otherwise you’d have never been offered a contract right? Do not expect that win to come this week though gentlemen, not at my expense. You see, from the looks of things, I have forgotten more about this business than either of you have yet to learn. For these fans, watching their favorite wrestler step between the ropes and win is great, but when watch me beat both of you at the same time, it’s going to send them into overdrive. As a matter of fact, let me take this chance to go ahead and put the entire roster on notice. When that bell rings and my arm is raised into the air, you will be seeing a recurring theme that is going to happen week after week without fail until you all realize that I am the top of the food chain. With Miranda here by my side, there’s nothing we can’t do. All I need is a shot and I’m going to take it to the top, and hell, even when I get there, I still won’t stop as if I’m running from the cops. Whether it’s a tag team, by myself, no rules, or no limits, there is no style I haven’t flourished in. It’s because of that I have found myself wearing more gold than Mr. T, and am in more Hall of Fames than Eric Clapton. Alot of people in this industry claim to be the best in the world, but I have spent my entire career proving it. When’s the last time anybody came up to you while you were at dinner just to get an autograph? Don’t worry… I’ll wait.”
Noah looks back at Miranda, who’s smile couldn’t be any larger. She nods her head at him, telling him to go ahead and drive that final nail in the proverbial coffin. A small chuckle leaves his lips as he turns back to the camera.
“Richard… Irvin… Listen closely because I’m not one that enjoys repeating myself. I’m walking into Massacre this week for one reason and one reason only… To kick ass and chew bubblegum. Sadly, I’m all out of bubblegum. Your stones have been chosen, your epitaphs carved. When it is all said and done, you two are going to find yourselves in a place you never wanted to be…”
Noah pauses for effect, allowing his words to linger in the stale air for a couple of moments.
“...Online Championship Wrestling will never forget the night that you two were buried beneath a Dublin Sky.”
Miranda walks around the desk once more, joining Noah as he puts his arm around her and leaves the office as the scene fades to black.

After finishing their debut promo, Noah and Miranda make their way outside of the small boxing gym, and towards the green Gran Torino sitting in the parking lot. As the two of them reach the american muscle, Noah climbs up, sitting on the trunk before reaching into his pocket, pulling the crumpled box of Camels out of his pocket, and clenching the mangled cancer stick between his teeth. As the flame touches the tip, Noah pulls the acrid smoke into his lungs, letting out a plume of smoke as Miranda places a hand on his leg.
“It was really good to see that fire again Noah. After what happened in Japan a few years ago, I never thought you’d step into a ring again.”
Just being reminded of that devastating tsunami again was enough to turn Noah’s blood cold, causing him to run his fingers down his side, feeling every raised scar from that night, wincing as if they were still fresh.
“Listen to me, you’re going to be as amazing as always Noah. Richard and Irvin have no idea what awaits them, but they’re going to learn I assure you. I have the utmost faith in you, even if you don’t.”
This causes her to pause as the doubt is apparent in Noah’s eyes. It’s been four years since he has stepped into a wrestling ring, and up until Miranda talked him into signing with OCW, he was of the mind that it would never happen again. Miranda smiles as she moves closer to Noah.
“You and your brothers were born for this business Noah, and if I have my way, all three of you are going to take OCW over and never let go. I haven’t been able to get ahold of Ryan though, and I’ve heard some really fucked up things about Will lately. What’s going on with them?”
Noah takes another long pull from the cigarette, releasing the smoke into the crisp evening air before he looks down at Miranda, brushing the few stray strands of pink hair out of her face.
“Ryan has been doing the family thing, enjoying the fact that he never needs to wrestle again. Married with two kids, and more money than God, he never has to lift a finger again for the rest of his life. As for Will… Well that’s another story entirely.”
Mentioning the name of his baby brother causes Noah to run his hand across his stomach for a moment before lifting up the bottom of his shirt, revealing the scar that runs just under the tattoo. Miranda’s eyes go a bit misty as her fingers move up to gently trace the jagged line, almost afraid of the story.
“Will’s gone batshit crazy, I don’t know how else to say it. Ever since his fiancee died a couple years ago, Will has been ready to kill anyone and everyone at a moment’s notice. Hell, him and I got into an argument over something, I can’t even remember what, and you see how that ended… He fucking stabbed me Miranda! Can you believe that shit?”
Noah swallows hard as he thinks about it all, then looks down at Miranda with a morose look in his eyes.
“As much as it sucks, I believe it’s safe to say that the Mackenzie Family Dynasty is dead… I’m the last one standing.”
Noah hops off of the trunk now, standing up and dusting off his jeans.
“Listen, as much as we both know we could sit here and talk until sunrise, it’s getting kind of cool out here. What do you say we continue this on the way to go get something eat? Maybe even a few drinks?”
Miranda nods and smiles, causing Noah to move over, opening the passenger side door of the Torino. After Miranda climbs in, Noah shuts the door and moves around the car, climbing into the driver’s seat, setting these two off on a collision course with a great time before they make their way towards Massacre.
