The scene fades back in on Mario Maurako and Jimmy “The Ice Pick” who are sitting on the couch in Mario’s house in Minnesota. Mario’s face now wears a look of sternness as opposed to his seemingly relaxed nature he was presenting prior to The Ice Pick’s arrival.
Mario Maurako: So what is it that we have to talk about Jimmy?
Jimmy “The Ice Pick”: As you already know Balconi wants to talk to you. He wants to discuss updating territory lines and product lists.
Mario Maurako: Wait a second, the stuff I’m letting you guys provide now isn’t good enough for you?
Jimmy “The Ice Pick”: Well the Balconi Family is expanding, and your Family has the prime real-estate. You guys aren’t growing in numbers. Balconi is trying to do this respectfully.
Mario Maurako: He’s respectfully trying to take over my town? Well tell him I respectfully said that he can go fuck himself.
Jimmy rolls his eyes as he knows that he has already chosen the wrong words and he is already trying to think about how he is going to break the news to Balconi.
Jimmy “The Ice Pick”: Well, I can see we are done here.
Mario Maurako: Yeah, if that’s the only reason you came out here. This could’ve waited until I met with Balconi myself.
Jimmy stands up from the couch and tips his fedora as an unspoken way of saying goodbye. Within’ moments of Jimmy leaving Big D walks back into the room.
Big D: Everything okay?
Mario Maurako: Fuckin’ Balconi is pissing me off. He’s trying to squeeze us out of our own town.
Big D: Well I wouldn’t worry too much about that. If nothing else we can have Matteo talk to him.
Mario glares at Big D.
Mario Maurako: We will do no such thing. Matteo is retired. This is my deal now. I’ll take care of it.
Big D: I just figured you should focus on OCW and Jared Black.
Mario chuckles before speaking.
Mario Maurako: I’m not the least bit concerned with Jared Black. I could show up on Monday and beat him with both hands tied behind my back and while being blind folded. He’s nothing more than an over paid jobber. He was probably a homeless man that Dean hired to make his roster look larger than it really was.
Big D: I don’t think that’s exactly it.
Mario Maurako: It doesn’t matter. Jared Black is dead meat on Monday and it won’t be long until all of OCW follows suit. Because I’m going to make sure that I ruin every single show and everything that Dean tries to pull off to bring OCW back to glory. Nobody is taking my spot. Not in The Family; Not in OCW; Not anywhere.
Big D: Yeah you’re right. I should’ve known that you had the Black thing covered. Do you want someone to go with you for the Balconi meeting?
Mario Maurako: No that’s okay, because I’m not going to attend the Balconi meeting.
A look of shock and concern crosses Big D’s face.
Big D: Why would you disrespect him by not showing up?
Mario Maurako: I’ve been disrespected all week. Jared Black pulling a no-show… Balconi rudely sending goons over here unannounced. So maybe it’s time he got a little bit of his own medicine. I’m a legend and I will be treated with respect by everyone in all facets of life.
Big D: Okay boss, I’ll get with Tony and make sure that things are taken care of here while you’re in Michigan for Massacre.
The scene fades to black.
Mario Maurako: So what is it that we have to talk about Jimmy?
