“People say they wish there was no "evil". That is like a child saying she wishes there was no darkness. Without good to be compared to something (evil) it becomes an empty word with no true meaning. Just as if there is no darkness to compare light to, light loses its meaning. When they say they wish there was no "evil" or darkness, do they know that they’re also saying that they wish there was no "good" or light?”
Dark, Death and Evil are three of the most recurrent elements of Darkness. Everyone in their life at some point has thought about these three subjects. Many great people have said a lot of things on these three subjects. These three entities are part of our life. The more we know about these, the better we will be able to deal with these.
Everyone has an evil side. Without these evil sides we can't be human. However the magnitude of this may vary from person to person. But what matters most is whether we act on it or not. We need to have control over this to be a better human. And control can only come after we learn what it is.
The scene opens inside the chapel of a church. There is a statue of a woman in the background, with a picture of Jesus Chris praying with his hands folded staring up at the sky. A beam of light glares down upon him. Underneath the statue and picture, Crazy Chris is kneeling on a bench. His hands clasped together, as he stares at the figures.
“Prayer is the only thing that can deliver us from evil. Evil lies beneath us all. It is the thing that separates the good guys from the bad guys. It’s that inner most thing that when you know something is wrong it tells you to do it anyways. I’m not talking about one’s conscience…I’m talking about their need to do ‘bad’ things when necessary. Some of us are born evil; others are taught evil.”
Chris lowers his head into the palm of his hands. He begins whispering something to himself which is unreadable. He raises his head and again stares at the painting.
“I’ve tried for many years to get rid of the evil that lurks deep down in my soul. However, I have come to the conclusion that I will never be able to change that fact. I have evil inside me, and come Monday at Massacre…a demon will release that evil.”
Chris stands to his feet not taking his eyes off the painting. He raises his hands towards the painting, and again begins speaking in an unreadable tone. He stops and continues.
“I’m not a very religious man, but Victor; I must say that I have taken to Jesus at the moment. I’m afraid of what may happen inside that ring this Monday when you and I go toe to toe. I’m worried that my evil inside will cause too much pain to you. I’m afraid that I will be unstoppable and that scares me a little. No, not for you Victor; for me. I’m scared that I’m going to unleash an evil on you that has never been unleashed. There is one thing that most people don’t understand about me…I can’t control what I do inside that ring. You can ask anyone from GCWA…ICW…CWF…OCW. I’m a monster inside that ring. I do evil things to people Victor. I can’t help who I am inside.”
Chris, having still not taken his eyes off the painting, tilts his head as he recognizes something on the painting he seems to have never noticed before.
“It’s like this painting here Victor. Jesus is kneeling and praying to a higher being in the sky. A light shines down upon him as if someone is answering his prayers. The question Victor is who that higher being is. Is it God? Is it someone else? Who is hearing his prayer? Who is he talking too? I don’t consider myself to be Jesus nor any form of him. But I always wonder if that ‘higher’ being will ever answer my prayer. Will they help me control that evil inside? Why do I have this inside me? There is no reasonable answer, Victor. I have nothing to lose this Monday so I guess that evil will have to be unleashed upon you.”
Chris finally takes his eyes off the painting and turns around. He slowly begins walking down the aisles, touching the arm of each pew as if he were counting them one by one. He reaches the end of the aisle and stands directly into the doorway that separates the worship hall from the entrance way. He turns around again staring at the pictures ahead. He stretches his arms out to the side forming a cross with his body.
“Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but too bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience. Romans 13:1-7”
Chris lowers his arms down to his side turns his attention towards the front door. He begins making his way towards the door. He reaches out and places his right on hand on the door handle. Before he begins to turn the handle, he turns his attention back towards the church hall.
“Evil shall have no bounds this Monday Victor. That painting on that wall should mean something but to me it states that the higher power above knows everything. He created everyone to be who they are. Evil doesn’t have to be a ‘bad’ thing Victor. No…evil can be a good thing. I know what evil lies beneath me Victor. I believe I can control the evil that is buried deep inside me. I believe that all things happen for a reason and this Monday, Victor, evil will be your downfall. I am going to give you a lesson you soon won’t forget. You think you have that evil inside you? Well if you do…I’m going to teach you how to embrace the evil. Love it as if it were your own child. Love it as if it were a precious heirloom that could never be stolen. I’m embracing my evil Victor. I’m giving you everything I know I can bring. Evil shall have no boundaries Victor. For I see evil…speak evil…hear evil. I am evil Victor. And that is the Gospel of Crazy Chris…”
Chris pulls the door open as he steps outside. He begins walking down the sidewalk and onto the gravel towards the road. As he reaches the road he turns around and speaks again.
“Chapter FUCK verse YOU!”
Chris turns back around and begins walking down the road…laughing.

“If only it were all so simple! If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?” ¯ Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn,
