Roleplay window will open at 12:00:00am CST on August 1st. It will close Sunday night, September 1st at 11:59:59pm CST.
That's one month to get one rp up. 3k word cap. 250 word overage buffer.
Roleplays will be scored as follows
Readability - This is the 'grammar' section. How well does it flow? How quick does it read? Do I have to go back and re-read portions that are unclear/difficult to discern? Do you make 3000 words feel like 300 or 30,000? A few typos and spelling errors are okay. But if it's like traversing a landmine then it's gonna hurt ya. Take the time to read through your work a twice, maybe even THRICE and clean it up. 5 pts for this category.
Story/CD - Who is your character? What are they doing? What's going on in their lives? The more creative, the higher the score. Can you tie it into OCW and the Cursed Countdown? I think the rest is pretty self explanatory. Advance your character and story. Make it interesting and relevant. 5 points for this category.
Promo - This is why we're here, right? Cut your opponent(s) down. Build yourself up. Why are you gonna win? Why should I believe you'll win and your opponents won't? Find creative ways to work this in. Make excellent points your opponent(s) might have a hard time disputing. Don't be afraid to get mean. You're going to war with these people, verbally fuck them up. 5 points for this category.
Highest possible score is 15.
Each show goes up on Thursday evening, beginning with our first show on Thursday, September 5th. After that, if you survive, you have the option to edit or replace your existing roleplay. You have until Tuesday night at 11:59:59pm CST to do so. If you are late your score will be docked 5 whole points.
As far as AI goes. I'm not gonna go into some big, detailed explanation. I'll just say I read all your work and I know what AI reads like. So, if you're caught using AI then I will make sure you are picked last for every pick up game you volunteer to participate in for the rest of your life. If you do it twice, your character might encounter some CASUAL MURDER. So, don't be a loser. You're all super creative, talented people. Let that talent shine!
