RULES

OCW Presents: Cursed Countdown

We start with 11 wrestlers.

The setting is inside a Haunted House near the shore. Don’t worry, we won’t get Lost at Sea or anything (I got you, Wilson).

There will be 8 rooms. Eight weeks of events.

I will reveal the 8 rooms in detail at a later date (aka once I figure them out).

Event starts Thursday, September 5th and ends on Thursday, October 24th.

Each wrestler must post 1 3k rp by 11:59:59pm Sunday, September 1st.

This is the only amount of writing you HAVE to do for this event. You can do more, if you choose, but we’ll get to that in a minute.

Once the rps are in, I’ll grade them.

Also, by 11:59:59pm on Sunday you’ll have to send me 1 of the 8 rooms listed. You can only choose this room once, so pick wisely.

Thursday will roll around and I’ll post the event. Each wrestler will wander from the main portion of the house into the room they selected. If they are in that room alone then they will survive the evening.

HOWEVER, if another wrestler is in there with them, they will fight. The loser will be removed from the house. The winner survives.

What if there are three wrestlers in the room? It’s a Triple Threat and the two losing wrestlers are removed.

What if there are 4 wrestlers in the room? It’s a Fatal Fourway and the 3 losers are out.

What if ALL 11 wrestlers are in the room? 8 Person fight with one survivor.

If you survive the event you get to ask me 1 of 4 questions about your existing roleplay. But, choose wisely, because once you’ve asked this question you can’t ask it again. Think the lifelines on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

Four questions:
1 – How can I improve my Character Development/Story?
2 – How can I improve my Promo?
3 – How can I improve my Readability?
4 – Where does my rp rank among all the others posted?

I will give you as thorough an answer as I can and then it’s up to you on how you want to use that information. You can edit your existing rp. Or, you can write a whole new rp. It’s up to you.

After you have edited your old rp or posted a new rp I will re-grade it, giving you a fresh, new grade. The old grade will be erased.

You can edit/post a new rp after every event you survive. But, you can only ask each of the aforementioned questions once. After that, you’ll be on your own when editing/writing.

We will run this down until the clock has run out on Thursday, October 24th.

Wait, what?

What happens if 7 are eliminated BEFORE the clock runs out on October 24th?
Whew, glad you fuckin asked. The survivor will be OCW Champion. But, with time still on the clock, they must defend. So, it’ll be open season. Anybody can post an rp to challenge the OCW Champion the following week and I will pick the best rp to show up to the Haunted House. If their rp beats the OCW Champion’s rp, they take the title. This process will repeat until the clock runs out.

If we reach this scenario, the OCW Champion’s exiting rp will remain as the rp that the new challenges have to beat.

And then...when the clock runs out on Thursday, October 24th, the lone, remaining wrestler who has survived the curse of the countdown will exit the Haunted House as the brand new OCW Champion.
