FEBRUARY 24, COLUMBUS OHIO
Kenny is seated at the desk in the courtroom. His lawyer is beside him. Both men look miserable. The sound slowly increases as we hear, “The People of the United States of America vs. Kenny Patsasoglou. We the jury, on count 24 against Mr. Patsasoglou find the defendant guilty as charged.” They continued reading guilty verdict after guilty verdict. Kenny looked miserable. He knew, no matter what happened, that he would never be free again.
FEBRUARY 24, ANTARCTICA
The massive seal slid across the snow and ice like a well-oiled machine. The three men (or man and two ghosts?) on its back looked majestic as they made their way through the turbulently treacherous territories of Antarctica. The seal slowed down between two rocks where several large torches were lit. Bifford stepped off of the mostly-CGI seal and pet it affectionately. He then walked up to where Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Kenny’s Aunt Bella, and his exwife Martha Stewart were standing.
Buffy: If you agree to this, there’s no going back.. Once you’re in that pyramid you will do nothing but evil. If you find Alice Knight, you will slaughter her. If you find Mario Maurako, you will shatter his dreams. If Shane Donovan pops out, it won’t be a series of contests you put him through but you will Biff End him.
Bifford: I will.. and at the end..
Buffy: At the end I guarantee your victory. But you know the price..
Bifford motioned behind himself, “I brought them for you.”
Buffy cackled and looked at Martin and his father’s ghosts. The two African American ghosts turned and began to run, but at the snap of a finger from Buffy they disappeared. The camera zoomed in on Buffy and she was wearing grape earrings in her left ear and the earring-image of an old black man on her left ear. She laughed her evil laugh, her eyes full of flames. The souls of Martin Ka’Berryon and his father now belonged to the demon Bifford summoned as a child.
The Plethora robe ominously appeared there next to Ludwig the Seal’s massive CGI physique. It appeared to be floating on its own, not hanging on anything. Bifford walked up to it, looked at it in silence and contemplation, and then put it on.
He disappeared.
Only Plethora remained.
