A CONFERENCE ROOM, MONDAY AFTER MASSACRE, KANSAS CITY
The screen flashes from darkness to a moment of static to the image of The Big Bifford, Earl the Popcorn Salesman, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Martin Ka’Berryon around a conference room table.
Bifford: Earl did you get those files from the publicity firm we hired?
Earl: Got them right here.. they think our comedy is too edgy, there’s too much murder which they say makes it “less believable” - if only they knew.. for fucks sakes we do so much evil.. they like that the cast of our promotional materials has become more diverse, but they still don’t think its diverse enough.
Bifford: Diverse enough? We have more black people than white people!
Earl: They want something else.. a Latino.. an Asian person.. a senior citizen.. a Native American..
Bifford lets out a loud groan.
Bifford: We had an Asian guy a few months ago.. the guy at the lab that Boris killed.
Earl: He had one scene before he was brutally murdered and eaten. They want a regular recurring character..
Bifford lets out another groan.
Bifford: Fine.. I know what we can do.. this is gonna be kinda expensive though.
