Walking out of the fancy-looking hotel that I booked for my week, wearing a silver colored jacket and jeans with my hair dyed silver, I have a very satisfied smile across my face. The only thing I have with me as I depart from the hotel is my one blue duffle bag slung over the right shoulder of my slim frame.
“You would never believe what's happened this week. I arrived at the hotel, the hotel staff opened the door for me. I had burgers for dinner before sleeping, woke up, trained, had the best prime steak for dinner, went to bed, woke up again, trained, and had gold-plated pancakes for breakfast.”
Continuing to walk and talk to the camera, I begin to remove my silver colored jacket and the blue T-shirt with a white lightning bolt logo underneath that I usually wear.
“I'm five foot, eleven inches. I'm a hundred and sixty-five pounds. But in school, I found out that I had a power. I was faster than anyone else. I told people that I wanted to be a professional wrestler, they laughed. I was told that I was too young, too inexperienced.”
Pausing, I thought about it.
“They were right.”
I stop by an open public pool looking through the chain link fence but I see there is nobody using it, I walk through the chain link fence.
“The contract, it’s official and signed. It’s time to get down to business. It’s like OCW hit a gold mine. The people that told me that I was too inexperienced at the time that I was in school, they were right. But...Daniel Dream, Thaddeus Duke, they were also right. My man, Thad, this must be a sign. Everyone else missed out. This is to prove everyone that ever believes in me, everyone that ever put their trust into me...right. This dream is no longer my own.”
Putting down the blue duffle bag, I begin to remove my sneakers and my jeans to reveal the blue swim shorts underneath my jeans.
“Being in OCW is like being thrown into the deep end. I said Crash Rodriguez is like being thrown in with a life preserver, but that doesn’t mean this match will be easy. This is my debut match in OCW. Thad Duke defeated Ed Houston in his debut to bring in two awards for The Gold Age. For me, this is sink or swim. I’m here to make my debut with a big splash against Crash and make waves in OCW.”
Climbing up the diving board’s ladder, I raise my voice so that I could be heard on the microphone for the OCW audience that will be watching.
“Am I ready for my OCW debut?! Is water wet?!!”
Jumping off the diving board with perfect form and landing in the water of the pool, I begin to showcase my speed as I prove that I’m faster than anyone else! Gracefully, I swim through the cool water to lap around the Olympic-sized pool while the video ends.
